About Adron Construction
New Zealand owned. Auckland & Christchurch based. A main contractor for recladding, remediation, renovations and commercial work.
Our Mission
Who We Are
We operate as a main contractor, which means one team runs the whole job from pricing and consent through to the Code Compliance Certificate at the end. You won't be handed between companies halfway through a build.
Most of our work involves buildings with weathertightness problems or homes that need more space. We reclad monolithic houses and repair leaky buildings, and we also handle renovations, additions and light commercial work across greater Auckland, from Warkworth and Helensville down to Manukau. A lot of this counts as restricted building work under the Building Act, so it has to be carried out or supervised by Licensed Building Practitioners, and every consented job we run comes with the records of work to prove it.

Our Philosophy
New Zealand Certified Builders
We're members of New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB), the only builders' association in the country that requires every member to hold a recognised trade qualification. NZCB also vets the business itself before approving membership, so it isn't a badge anyone can simply pay for.
Our NZCB listing covers weathertightness work, alterations, multi-unit developments and light commercial contracts. You can check our membership for yourself on our NZCB profile, and if you're comparing builders we've written a guide on what NZCB membership actually tells you.
Our Guarantee
The Halo 10 Year Guarantee
Because we're NZCB members, qualifying residential projects can be covered by the Halo 10 Year Residential Guarantee. Halo is insurance backed and sits independently of the builder, which matters because it still protects you if the building company winds up years after handover. Cover includes loss of deposit and non-completion during the build, then defects and weathertightness once you've moved in, and the guarantee transfers with the house if you ever sell.
Full detail is at halo.nz, or you can read our plain-English breakdown.

Our Process
How We Work
Every job starts with a proper assessment. On remediation work that usually means invasive moisture testing before anyone talks numbers, because guessing at the scope of a leak is how budgets blow out. From there we confirm the scope, obtain the building consent, carry out the work and manage council inspections through to the CCC. You'll deal with the same people from the first site visit to the final sign off.
